Mission: |
This Ministry is to comply with the Israel Baptist Church's Mission. The mission of the Senior Citizen Ministry is to be an active ministry that will reach out to the unsaved and compel them to Christ. The ministry will take an active role in Sunday School, Bible Study, Prayer, Praise and Worship. Each person will pray, love and care for one another as they age. |
| Purpose: |
- To encourage those in our fellowship who are 55 years and older to become actively involved.
- To participate in activities that foster: spiritual growth, aging on educational pursuits, evangelistic outreach and wholesome fellowship events.
- To act as a resource for senior citizens to exchange ideas and information
- To maintain the identity of senior citizens with regard to their continued values as vital parts of the church and community.
- To recognize the senior values in term of wisdom, experience, knowledge, talents, and other God given abilities and gifts.

Ministry Meeting Every 3rd Wednesday @ 10:30 am
We're looking for more members: The requirements are very simple - YOU MUST...Love the Lord * Be 55 years or Older * Attend Meetings * Love Our Pastor. Learn new things, get important information, visit other churches, go on trips, see movies and become a part of our special celebrations. Join us for fun, fellowship, food & gifts.
Looking for Seniors
(over 60) to become Mentors. Older adults are placed in elementary schools (K-3rd grade) in Baltimore City. The goal is
to help children succeed and keep older adults active. Work (15) hours a week and receive a stiped of $1500 - $2250 a year.
