Mission: |
Teaching the body of Christ how to prosper and reaching the unsaved surrounding community through the S.H.A.R.E. Food Co-OP |
| Purpose: |
The IBC S.H.A.R.E. Ministry provides opportunity for all people to share their gifts with the community. Those who share their gifts and talents will get quality, fresh food in exchange. This is accomplished by pooling our dollars and our talents to work "to minister to the spiritual, physical and social needs of all people" |
| Vision: |
To work together to the benefit of the body of Christ and the community by implementing a self-help approach to meeting their needs through evangelism, education and empowerment. |
New & Events:
SHARE is a monthly distribution usually the 4th Saturday of each month except for those months where a
holiday requires it be changed to the 3rd Saturday to accommodate the holiday. The Value package cost is $20.00 each month.
When offered, the special package is also $20.00 unless there is a special price given. Along with the cost, there is a
requirement of minimum of two hours of community service to a church, organization, or individual who is being blessed by
your gift of time.
SHARE FOOD NETWORK also has a monthly newsletter with previews of the next month's meat items, recipes featuring the
current month's items, basic tips, highlights, other SHARE host sites and volunteer opportunities.
Who can participate?
As a patron, SHARE is open to everyone. As a volunteer, anyone who is willing to join us for the food distribution to
be part of the 5 am pickup, the 7 am to 9 am setup and bagging, or the distribution process from 10 am to 12:00 pm.
As a ministry member, we are looking for anyone who is willing to be consistent in:
- Worship
- Study
- Prayer
- Evangelism
The SHARE Ministry also partners with other ministries and church projects like The IBC Holiday Baskets to service the
church family, our communities and others in need.
