Women's Ministry
Proverbs 31:26
She opened her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

Mission Statement:
To promote spiritual growth and fellowship amongst all women and young ladies of the Israel Baptist Church. To be the shining example of what it is to be a Christian, to reach out to the church, minister to and uplift one another in and out of the community.

Purpose: The Women's Ministry exists to:
  • Provide opportunities for women to connect with Christ and each other.
  • Facilitate other women in their respective ministries.
  • Build positive relationships (through fellowship and service).


Colors: Purple: For royalty - We are the King's daughters (Psalms 45:13a)
              Gold: For robes - The King's daughters were dressed in gold (Psalms 45:13b)
                     For crown - They placed a crown made of gold on His head(Psalms 21:3b)


Leader's Statement:
  • To bring the women's ministry back to its former vibrancy.
  • To set the standard of Excellency for the ministry by being visibly active in bible study, prayer service, and financially through tithes and offering.
  • To try to meet the physical, emotional, and the spiritual needs of the women in our congregation. Realizing that women of all ages are important and can contribute, we will try to bridge the gap between the younger and older women of the church, and
  • To also bring back the importance of outward presentation (style and grace).
  • To teach that being a Christian and part of a church is not membership, it is a lifestyle.
